Sammy Signs for Swansea

We are absolutely delighted to announce that super Sammy Henia-Kamau has signed a two-year contract with Swansea City to commence in the 2023/24 season. Swansea City finished the 2022/23 league campaign 10th in the Championship, the second tier of English Football. Although we know this means that we lose one of our amazing players, this is the reason the club was formed.

“Our mission is to improve playing standards and offer our elite players the opportunity to play at higher levels on a regular basis.”

Jersey Bulls 2019

Sammy signed for the Bulls as a 16 year old and went on to play nearly 40 times for the club, representing the club at first team, under 23 and under 18 level.

He has adapted well to senior men’s football in the U.K. which is a lot more physical than playing locally. Most notably becoming Jersey Bulls’ youngest hattrick scorer when he netted three outstanding goals against Romford in the 2022/23 FA Vase Competition.

Not only has Sammy been excelling in our First Team this season, he has also been playing for our U18 and U23s sides. Scoring in the FA Youth Cup against Burgess Hill Town and helping the U18 team on a fantastic cup run in the Grant McLellan Youth Cup.

“We are delighted for Sammy to have signed for Championship club, Swansea City. The has been a lot of attention in our younger players and whenever we play away from home, scouts from the EPL and EFL clubs are always in attendance. Sammy has shown he has the required ability to play at a higher level and everyone at the club wishes him well and future successes.”

Ian Horswell CEO
