Bulls To Travel To Billingshurst Or FC Elmstead In FA Vase After Bye

Jersey Bulls FC will visit either Billingshurst or FC Elmstead in the FA Vase Second Qualifying Round after receiving a bye past the first round of the competition.

Should Bulls win the tie they will progress into the First Round proper, with the eventual final taking place at Wembley Stadium on Saturday 8th May.

Manager Gary Freeman said ‘I am a little disappointed (to get the bye) for the supporters and players to be honest. The players have been training for a good few weeks now and I get the feeling that they are desperate for a game. However, it is good that we are in the next round of the competition.’

‘We are excited to be part of such a prestigious competition. I know the players can’t wait to get going.’

As it stands, the First Qualifying Round tie will take place on the 19th September, with the winner hosting the Bulls in the Second Qualifying Round on the 10th October.

Chairmen Russell Le Feuvre added ‘We are delighted to be part of the FA Vase. It’s a national competition and an exciting opportunity for the team and the management to come up against different sides around England.’
